I'd like to introduce you to the Honorees from Colorado for The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. The program also chooses anywhere from 2 to 10 runners up in each state. They are named Distinguished Finalists and receive a bronze medallion. I will be listing them as well underneath the Honorees.
I will give a short description of what the Honoree has been nominated for and then you can click on their name to find out more!
The two state Honorees are:
Suzanne is a senior. She created "Hate-4-Hope" a program that hand-knits hats for premature babies that are in the neo-natal intensive care unit of the local hospital.
and
Christina is in eighth grade. She volunteers with Metro Volunteers and has launched a campaign to educate people about he dangers of radon.
The Distinguished Finalists are:
Matthew Davis-enhancing community resources
Jonathan Schwan-promoting health and safety
Eric Bear-promoting health and safety
Angela Natrasevschi-campaigning against substance abuse and violence
