I'd like to introduce you to the Honorees from Florida for The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. The program also chooses anywhere from 2 to 10 runners up in each state. They are named Distinguished Finalists and receive a bronze medallion. I will be listing them as well underneath the Honorees.
I will give a short description of what the Honoree has been nominated for and then you can click on their name to find out more!
The two state Honorees are:
Samantha is a junior. She started the "Students for the Poor" club. The club promotes monthly service projects that help poor people.
and
David is an eighth grader. He has given more than 300 hrs last year alone to volunteering in his community with his Boy Scout troop.
The Distinguished Finalists are:
Stevie Peacock-aiding the disadvantaged
Miles Saffran-aiding the disadvantaged
Alexander Fields-Lefkovic-assisting the disabled
Elizabeth Tran-helping and comforting the sick
Danielle Steinberg-romoting health and safety
Melanie Wolff-promoting health and safety
Jonathan Ludmir-reaching out to senior citizens
Haley Moss-promoting tolerance or diversity
