I'd like to introduce you to the Honorees from Michigan for The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. The program also chooses anywhere from 2 to 10 runners up in each state. They are named Distinguished Finalists and receive a bronze medallion. I will be listing them as well underneath the Honorees.
I will give a short description of what the Honoree has been nominated for and then you can click on their name to find out more!
Here are the State Honorees:
Braeleigh is a senior. She created and runs "Princess & Pirate Days." An event held at childrens hospitals to help encourage and cheer up the patients.

Shayna is in eighth grade. She has shared her time volunteering. She volunteers in multiple ways, including a visiting a local nursing home and working with students with disabilities.
The Distinguished Finalists are:
Jarrett Gorman-aiding the disadvantaged
Andrea Trubiano-assisting the disabled
Katelyn Hill-campaigning against substance abuse and violence
Sarah Ellis-raising money and awareness for victims of human trafficking
Hilary Viegelahn-helped raise funds for autism speaks
Sara Ma-promoting tolerance or diversity
Rachael Stein-promoting tolerance or diversity
Emily Maslovich-teaching, tutoring and mentoring other young people
